Strip Smart Quilts

I found a new quilt book at Jo-Ann's and I just love it. It is called Strip-Smart Quilts by Kathy Brown. It is not a new quilt book-just new to me. 

I fell in love with the gorgeous quilts in this book and then I read how she made them. The book became a must-have. Her technique is to sew 2, 3 or 4 strips of fabric together, cut them into triangles using a Creative Grids 90 degree ruler and then stitch the triangles into beautiful quilt blocks. I have several projects in my immediate future, but this is definitely a book I will be making a quilt from soon.
